Get StartedHonestly, I think this is the reason we miss out on the big recruits. Izzo refuses to let them play through mistakes.I trust izzo in the way he hands out minutes but I can't see why DD isn't playing more. He may struggle a little w ball screens and cutting out but he scores and alters shots.
It's true, guys coming for 1 yr aren't about sitting on the bench because they don't set screens well or hedge on ball a screens. We just happen to win with lesser recruits because izzo coaches that way.Honestly, I think this is the reason we miss out on the big recruits. Izzo refuses to let them play through mistakes.
Anyone know why Clark never got in?
Wrist injury per msu beat writers on twitterAnyone know why Clark never got in?
Does Hammonds not start for them anymore?Anyone watching purdue iowa? Hawkeyes were down 19, now up 5
Didn't watch the beginning but he was on the court w Swanigan a lot. Good thing we have multiple bigs to throw at themDoes Hammonds not start for them anymore?
I'll keep saying it in hopes that Izzo will read it...please play Davis more. His post moves are smoother and better than Costello and every other big we have on the team. Those spin moves by Costello are horrendous. Harris is a bit out of control but he can get his shot when ever he wants. I think a lot of the control issues come into play because he is given the ball with the clock winding down and he has to force things.
Harris and Valentine on the floor at the same time come March is going to give every team problems. Add Forbes shooting ability and you've got one heck of a team. Hopefully Davis is starting by then...come on Izzo!
