MSU vs Minnesota

I don't know if Costello and schilling together will be a regular thing, I think they just wanted to go big yesterday. I think those guys will still tag team depending on the opponent. I'd expect bess and Clark to play more against teams with more athletic 4's

Lots of flack for costello, ive never thought he was a bad player. He has problems finishing around the rim sometimes but hes a good player. We lose that game if it wasnt for him yesterday.

He was 5 of 11 for 17 points. Davis was 4 for 4 with 10 points. Replace Costello with Davis and we win that game by 15+. That's just my opinion though. I think we know what we will get out of Costello and playing him is playing it safe. With Davis he will make mistakes and is somewhat of an unknown, but he brings so much more to the table.

Edit: also, Davis just seems much more comfortable in the post. He sees the floor much better. Costello panics, I don't know if that's the right word but you know what I mean.

I think Costello ' s 15 boards were a big reason we won. Costello also made a ton of free throws.

Im not disagreeing but yes 15 boards is thumbs up stat . DAvis needs 25 minutes. I just think Costello gets a lot more flack than he should. People can point at nairn for scoring 50 points in a seaon and hes a god:shrug: I like Nairn but I just dont see justification for the constant finger being pointed at Matt by a lot of people. He can blow plays around the rim I know but hes getting boards and 80% at the stripe. Davis needs 25 minutes one way or the other in the near future. Let him play Tom!!

I'm with you on Tum. Harris at the point would be nice. But Tum is that emotional leader and glue guy.
