Note : Detroit MLK is defending d3 champs. They have also won D2 in 2015, and 16. this is Seaholm's first semifinal since 1997. Walled lake lost in the 2016 finals in d2 to MLK. They are not slouces themselves. Mona Shores lost in 2014, and 2018 d2 title game to Warren De La salle so maybe this is the year. Tough teams here battle tested. Lean to MLK though.

11-2 Muskegon Mona shores has been around since 1962 and is under .500 at 244-283-5. They have made the plays 6 of the last 7 years. I looked back and did not see any other playoff years.
This year they have 1 shutout, and 2 other games they have held other teams under 10.
scoring 440 and allowing 263. I have heard they are banged up starting a backup quarterback but
i am unsure. They are 0-2 in title games losing both to Warren De La Salle in 2014, and 2018.

Detroit MLK is also 11-2. They are 436-210-7 since 1950. This year they are 531-161 in offense and defense with 3 shutouts and 4 other games under 10 on defense. In title games MLK is
1-0 in division 3 . 3-0 in division 2. Also 0-2 in AA finals in 1989 and 1990. 4-2 overall.

Ok both were smoked by Muskegon. Mona shores 53-0. MLK 41-18. Mona Shores are the cardiac kids coming from behind in most of the playoff games including last weeks thriller 57-56 with a backup qb I think. I just think MLK has the better team. King I think close.
