They just lost Pujols and Fielder to the American league and i know both still play in the field but playing DH at the end of you career for a power hitter has to be in the back of that players mind when signing a long term deal. Just my opinion because I am tired of seeing AL teams at a disadvantage in the World series at NL parks..

I'm willing to capitulate on this issue. I hate the DH, but I hate that the two leagues have different rules more. Time for the NL to change the rule and accept the DH.

OH I agree with you I could care less which way baseball decided to go... I prefer the DH but i just would like to see both leagues use the same thing..

I want to see the DH universal for a different reason.

Pitchers are highly paid for being good at 1 thing, pitching.

Position players have to play defense to an extent, and maintain hitting ability, as well as base running.

Having pitchers trying to hit, and run bases is just another chance for them to get injured, it would be like an NFL team having their star QB play special teams.

Let the Pitchers pitch, and the Hitters hit.
