Nba Playoff Preview

On this date in 1970, Willis Reed returned for game 7 of the finals. NBA and NHL playoffs are WAY too long.

Not as much TV exposure back then. They do it now (make it so long) because of more money.
 
NBA Playoffs are definitely too long. There are only 5 or 6 teams tops every year that really have a shot at a title. The first round is basically a waste of time, and most years the second round is too.

The NHL I actually love that it's a two month long grind. There's a reason they say the Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy to win. There's way more opportunities for upsets and a hot goalie can steal you a series.

Golden State, Rockets, Cavs, Celtics.

Before the season started, those were the 4 teams that almost everyone thought would be in the conference finals.
