Ncaa Volleyball Bracket 2018 ?Sweet 16?

Big ten play is starting this week as most of the teams complete their non-conference schedules. Michigan clocks in at 11-0 . Girls just had a home and home with now 6-4 Notre Dame and swept them 3-0 in South bend and 3-1 at home. Girls are ranked 18th right now with the tough big ten schedule coming up. Big ten has 5 teams in the top 10 and 7 teams ranked in the top 25, and 12-1 MSU soon to be ranked. Every team but 6-8 Rutgers is over .500 in the non conference part of their schedule.

Girls had a 1-1 road trip . Lost At #3 Nebraska 3-1, and won at Iowa 3-0. 1-1 in conference and 12-l. It was the girls first loss of the season.

Girls open big ten 2-2. Losing game one and four to Nebraska and Psu. But winning the games the should verses Iowa and Rutgers. Team is 13-2 overall. Ranked #17 . Bunch of big ten schools are ranked .

Girls has had a good weekend at home In beating Purdue 3-0 and Indiana 3-2 to improve to 15-2 and 4-2 in the ever tough Big Ten.

Girls beat Ohio state 3-2, @and Maryland 3-1 to improve to 6-2 in conference and 17-2 overall. I was wrong about last weeks schedule. Girls four game road swing completes this week with matches at 16-3 Illinois ,and Northwestern who is 10-10.

Girls lose a tough one at #7 Illinois 3-2. They fall to 6-3 and 17-3 overall.

Girls split last weekend losing at Illinois 3-2 and winning at Northwestern 3-0. They are
7-3 in conference and 18-3 overall. Gophers are rolling so far. But weekend for the girls at home with Wisconsin coming in Friday and Minnesota on Saturday.

Girls down 2-1 use a amazing comeback in set three down 21-17 to score 8 points in a row to tie match at 2-2 with #7 Wisconsin only to sag in set five and lose the match.
3-2 .Frustrating as they had all the momentum going into the set. Now top ranked. Gophers coming to Ann Arbor. Girls facing a 0-2 weekend to the top teams this weekend..I like our head coach but his MO is not beating top teams that often.

#3 Minnesota has no issues in Ann Arbor crushing #12 Michigan 3-0. Girls fall to
7-5 in Conference and 18-5 overall. On the road at Indiana and Wisconsin next two games.

Losing streak reaches 3 in a row as the the Now 7-6 and 18-6 wolverines continue to play awful. They lose to crappy Indiana who is 6-7 and 15-9. First loss to a unranked team.
At Wisconsin up next. I do not expect a win there either. It would be a upset to win there.

#14 Michigan bounce back from bad loss at Indiana to upset a ranked team at Wisconsin down 1-0 they win the next three sets to win the match 3-1. Improve to 19-6 and 8-6 in conference. Nice win. First win over a top five club since 2015.

Another bad weekend for the girls after upsetting Wisconsin. They lost both matches this weekend at home sadly. 3-0 to Maryland, and 3-1 to Nebraska. They are 8-8 in conference and 19-8 overall.

Michigan as usual have struggled with the top teams in the Big Ten. They are on a three game losing streak and are 8-9 in conference and 19-9 overall. Still ranked in top 25 but then so is half of the Big Ten. Girls have three games left in conference. At MSU on Saturday then Northwestern (15-14) and MSU (17-13) at home the following weekend. Both opponents are 5-12 in league . Girls need at 2-1 finish for a .500 conference record.
