Well...the author also salutes a Democrat, and a very centrist Republican whom the Democrats were also recruiting to run for president on the Democratic ticket before he announced his political affiliation.

"One of the greatest economic disasters in history" doesn't necessarily mean the author thinks it was worse than the one Obama inherited.

Obviously historians aren't ready to start evaluating the Obama presidency, because it isn't history yet.

The guy who writes those articles already has, several times.

And I was not implying that he thought Reagan inherited a bigger mess then Obama, the LOL is that it could be considered "one of the worst economic disasters in history".

It was an economic disaster in the way a cigarette burn on your carpet is a terrible house fire.

We could have theworst economic situation of the whole world in the next 4 years and oddly Bush gets blamed for it all, lol.

You ever heard of the phrase "no where to go but up"? Yet we keep going down. Obama shouldn't get a pass because of what Bush did. And that's exactly what you keep saying..

we do not keep going down; unemployment has bounced along at the high rate it hit a few years ago.

corporations are still making a lot of money and retaining it and paying it out as executive bonuses and dividends to shareholders, while shedding workers and/or benefits.

the major stock indexes recovered under Obama and have gone up.

you should be happy: under Bush the rich got a lot richer at everyone else's expense, and Obama hasn't done anything to change that. and now things will eventually trickle down to working stiffs like you, right?

Oh, he has?

Didn't know that.

What has he said?

Obama sucks and is a horrible President. Let us all admit it.

When did I (or anyone) say anything in this thread about Bush?

You're a funny guy Mitch, you insist you're here for the laughs only, but you're ready to launch a crusade because you assume someone is insulting your hero.
