PD scores the game winner with 16 seconds left in OT...Much needed 2 points.... I only saw the last 5 minutes of the game and ot but I see the wings have called up the rookie...Danny D. How did he look if anybody watched the game? Kid seems decent from what little i saw of him..

I watched the whole thing. (I was at the bar so wasnt paying the best attention in the world) DeKeyser looked good. He wasn't really noticeable on the ice, made a few stupid passes that he would have been able to get away with in the NCAA, but not at NHL speed. That is to be expected of any rookie. Not being noticed is a very good thing for a defensive defenseman which he is purported to be. The most telling thing is that he was on the ice in OT. If Babcock has enough confidence to put him on the ice in a very important game in OT its a very positive sign for Dekeyser.

wow, i'm not even seeing his stats on the ESPN box score...that is just sad.

according to nhl.com box score

0 Goals, 0 Assist, 0 +/-, 0 Shots, 0 PIM, 16:36 TOI

anytime i see that type of stat line from a defensive player, i'm good with it...especially the +/- and PIM for that amount of TOI.
