Geez, I figured there would be someone on here expressing complete outrage over how that Dallas hospital screwed up or how we should stop allowing people come to the US from Africa until quarantined for a month or some other anti-Africa comments or SOMETHING!
What a bunch of slackers you all are! ;P
So anyway, it will be interesting to see how well the CDC is able to get this instance isolated. They claim Ebola cannot become a rampant problem in the US, and part of me wonders just how much Ebola vaccine they have stockpiled in preparation for a potential outbreak as a result of such a claim. Granted much has to do with the process of isolating people here in the US...but I guess hospitals will now need to start inquiring whether someone showing flu symptoms have travelled to Dallas recently.
On a personal note, I have family in the Dallas area including my sister who is a nurse, so I obviously am hopeful they get this situation under control very quickly.
