About Lions playoff tickets arriving at season ticket holders houses the day after they were eliminated from the playoffs then refusing refunds?

Yeah welll...I read that any refund would instead be applied to fund their next year's regular season tix.

Sounds like a plan, huh?

Finance geniuses at their best, zero common sense and even less skill at customer service and less still care for anything other than making the company more money.

Every finance department should be fired, that is the best way to save a company money.

Doesn't every team do that in every sport? Sell tickets for playoffs if you have a chance and if you don't make it or advance then it goes towards next year's regular season purchase? I've never heard of refunds for playoff tickets...but then again I never buy tickets or go to games.

Teams usually give the option for a refund, that much is for sure. Who the hell wants to pay for tickets for August in December with no interest accrued or no idea even if they want to renew 9 months later.

Teams also usually wait until the final week to send them out or not at all. i.e. after they have made the playoffs. Notice there is no stories about Arizona fans receiving playoff tickets.

All money will go towards 2014 playoff tickets or roll over until the next time the Lions make the playoffs. Consequently with inflation that money will in the future buys 1/8th of a playoff ticket. The vast majority of season ticket holders who wish not to renew their continued viewing of this dumpster fire will instead be refunded their full paid value in Lions 2013 calenders featuring Titus Young and Aaron Berry.
