Beckham 4.31
Bryant 4.34

Gallon 4.42
Landry 4.65 Hamstring pull (need to blast his pro-day)
Lee 4.44
Matthews 4.40
Moncrief 4.35
Richardson 4.35
Robinson 4.56
Watkins 4.34

Fastest - 4.3:

So much speed in this class it is disgusting.

I saw Jeff Janis from SVSU ran a 4.30

He is a bigger guy too.

Give me a nice 4.45 guy with hands.

With this depth I think Watkins has a better chance of falling to us.

i had hoped for a faster time by Evans. there are 2 absolute requirements for someone opposite CJ, true speed and great hands. if JJ has the hands then definitely grab him up, maybe even as high as the R4 Comp pick which is basically the Lions R5 pick. big guy who is fast and fluid, his route running will likely need some work at the NFL level, but being a fluid runner he should be able to pick up how to run better routes. could very well pan out as a gem if he has the skills. many great WRs have come out of small schools, so no issue if the lions get him provided he has great hands to go with the speed.

They were talking about all those guys with speed that basically did nothing as a WR in the NFL. Speed doesn't mean all that much..

Speed worked for CJ so its not a complete write off. But your right Mitch 40 times either confirm (Watkins) or surprise (Matthews) but rarely are you going to knock a guy who produces due to a bad 40. Landry from LSU is a good example 4.65 is poor (and I think he'll improve in his pro day) but he's still a great player.

To Zxyt point, the way to attack a saftey rolling toward CJ is attack them deep. There you need speed (an perhaps more importantly the ability to get off the line).

I never said it was. But running a 4.3 by itself doesn't mean much.

After running a 4.34 hes a top 5 lock imo. Lions talked to gilbert :D

Teams are going to look at the second round and say, hey are we going to get much of a downgrade. I would worry about those 7-8-9 picks with Sammy.

Routes and hands. I'm tired of the drop excuse. Plus with Stafford accuracy you need guys with hands and leaping abilities..

Bryant and moncrief running mid 4.3s is ridiculous. Im most impressed by them. Beckham might end up being the 2nd best wr in the draft.

Matthews was supposed to be lucky to run a 4.6, his big ? was speed. 4.40? Whoa.
