Now on to Beat Green Bay

I can see us winning Thurs

Big loud amped up crowd like on Monday Night - and we do match up well against them. They're a pass first team, wich an average at best running game - that plays right into our scheme up front on Defense.

Gonna be tough to contain Finley. Nevermind the WR's, and Rogers running all over hell and throwing perfect dimes on the run 40 yards downfield... I think the matchup against Finley, the DE's keeping contain on Rogers and getting a push from C. Williams, Suh, and Fairley up the middle.

Could go either way though... Probably the Packers win... but I think we'll play them tight. We did twice last year...

Rodgers is playing on a whole different level when it comes to QB play. It is going to be extremely difficult to pull out a win even at home on our beloved Thanksgiving day game. If Starks is out that will definitely help though. Just going to be very difficult to stop Rodgers. The stadium should be rocking though. We cannot afford any slow starts or stupid penalties in this game. We should be in a position to win the game if we play like we can for all 4 quarters.

Lion fans are classy. "Well we can't beat rodgers, let's hope he gets hurt" lol.

And in 62 we won it all. So idc if we lose to you if we win it all again.
Classy has gotten the Lions and their fans what in the last 50+ years?

Mitch[/color]]Lol. If you can't beat them kill them. Or cheat :)
You're damn right...I don't care if this team is the dirtiest mf'ing team on the planet...winning is the ONLY thing that matters.

It should be a close game.

Ignoring the win we had withi Drew Stanton when Rodgers got hurt, the 1st game in Green Bay was close too. Remember it took that great diving Interception and then return with a dive into the endzone by Woodson to win that game

Detroit and any team that can pressure Rodgers without blitzing can beat them. Our front 4 needs to have their best game. At least 4 sacks and lots more pressure. I have watched many GB games, and Rodgers for the most part has so much time to find a target. I think if we can force a turnover early and get up 14-0, we can win.

We can play with anyone and we much up with GB as well as anyone can.

Never bet against the Lions on Thanksgiving either.

Well you knocked him out last year, but who was winning in the playoffs.
They clearly didn't knock him out long enough.

Detroit helped GB win the SBby winning late so we deserve half the trophy.

Its not just his protection either. He is I think the best passer in the league on the move. He has ridiculous pocket presence and when he has to take off, he's at almost no disadvantage.

Yes he has a great arm. Yes he's deadly accurate. Yes he can scramble and pick up yards when he needs to.

But I think what sets him apart from every other QB in the NFL, is his ability to maintain arm strength and accuracy when he's flushed.

We can beat them.....as long as we dont beat ourselves....dumb penalties, ST lapses, TO

I don't think teams use safety blitzes on GB nearly enough. He goes through his reads and gets the ball out faster than any QB I've ever seen. You HAVE to get quick penetration to have any chance.

I am gah-dam sick of hearing about how good the Packers are. SCREW 'EM . THIS IS OUR TIME.
