Freaking ridiculous how the Obama administration was maneuvered by the republican pinheads like McCain and Graham.. They better be able to hold his senate seat or I will be pissed.. Scott Brown is a piece of crap...

I'm trying to be impartial as I can but he needs to. This country is screwed. Whether you want to blame Bush or any other republican, Obama and the Senate is killing us.

Brown had an approval of almost 60%...not bad for a state that is less than 20% republican

Blame Obama. He caved. And boy (!) the stakes if Brown is elected are indeed grave. You will be pissed. Join the rest of us.

I totally disagree.. Sorry but it is the do nothing republicans are crushing American.. With its 380+ filibusters... Sorry Mitch but the Republican party does not want to help America. Just the party of No.. After Bush was elected on a smaller margin the Obama was his second time he said he had a mandate and we all needed to fall in line... Well enough is enough from the republicans.. 2014 is coming and the republicans will get blamed so that is that...

I do and I am pissed. I called my senator as soon as I saw that he nominated Kerry.. Should have done it last week I guess... Obama administration is stupid to put Kerry's seat in jeopardy... Oh well hopefully they will win it.. Yeah the right is all pissed at Obama but he gave in more then the tan man and his group and yet it is not enough.. The right never blames Bush and his group for Americans mess at all.. To bad because Obama inherited that idiots administrations mess. Oh well ..

I'm not sure about that. Bush did a bad job the more he was in office. I knew that and others know that, even Republicans. I always thought it was the dems. never question Obama. All they say is "Obama inherited Bush's mess" like you :) .

It goes both ways.

Obama caves and compromises all the freaking time.. He did this time but enough is enough... He won election and it is time for the republicans to compromise but instead they just do not want Obama to succeed. It is so obvious ... But just like on November 4th the American people are catching on.. And I do question Obama all the damn time..I want both parties to work together.

But when you have Mitch McConnell coming out and saying a week after Obama was elected the first time that we have to make sure Obama is a one term president as was freaking stunned by the comment.. That comment alone shows the republicans never wanted to work with Obama ever.. I do not think democrats were ever like that during Bushes 8 years..

has he proposed any legitimate cuts??? seems like republicans were coming up with numerous proposals...even the latest Plan B was announced as DOA by Reid & Obama.

The only time Obama has caved as you put it is because all his initial proposals or plans are so bad that even the Senate says its a problem. No where to go a that point besides to move a little bit.

I guess 1.2 trillion is not enough a the SS cpi which he said he would never do.. And yet republicans want to protect tax breaks for 250 K and above and make sure the people under that pay more.. Obama even moved that number up to 400 K..

Because 250k isn't fair. Most of us think it is because we don't make that kind of money. But one proposed 1m, the other 250k so they compromised. Or are you say that Obama should always get his way because you think its right?

Caving would have been if he went to 1m.

He went to $400k with cuts to Social Security. Not sure which budget is more fair but polls show that if they go over the fiscal cliff the GOP will get more of the blame.

What did I miss? What did Obama cave too?

Sorry not been following the news today.

DC 33

He didn't cave....both Rice and Kerry were being vetted for the SoS job , he made the mistake of saying " if you got a problem come after me not her " remark a couple of weeks ago in regards to Rice vs McCain and Graham....the media then took it and ran with Rice was the "100% nominee"....Barry never once stated she was his #1 choice.

Susan Rice is way to political for SoS....she'll be better off as NSA Advisor anyway.

John Kerry was the right choice for SoS....he has the chops for the job 30 years in foreign policy and relationships world wide.

There you go. You Americans must feel dumb needing a Canuck to get to the truth.

To slick and lostleader ... i am just pissed that Obama is opening the possibility of losing Kerry's senate seat again.. When all the republicans were bashing Rice they were sprouting off on how they would support Kerry in a heartbeat.. They wanted the pick so they can have a chance to win the seat.. Obama maybe should have supported Rice better but he should never cave into what the republicans want.. They want Kerry and his seat... Just a all around bad play by Obama..
