I caught the last half of a conversation about this on NPR. Even the NPR expert (or whatever you call whoever they brought in to talk about it) was calling him a terrorist. And they're about as pro-Obama as you can get.

What's the argument for letting him go? I could see if he wasn't actually involved in the bombings and showed remorse for them happening, but he doesn't show remorse.

Seems like every single president has a few controversial pardons. I wish the number of pardons/commuted sentences was limited. It also seems really dirty when they do it as they're walking out the door. "Sorry boys, not president any more, forward questions to the next guy!"

Snowden didn't take his lumps though. He's hiding out in Putin's pool house.

Manning went though a courts martial, was found guilty, sentenced, and admitted wrongdoing.

And a whistle blower is not even in the same ballpark as foreign government sponsored hacking of our election process.

first of all, our election process wasn't hacked - no votes were ever tampered with. Some emails were stolen and now people need an excuse to distract the populace from the awful truth on those emails. And Bradley Manning isn't a whistle blower, he's a thief who stole highly classified information that put American soldiers and intelligence personel at home and abroad at risk. He should have gotten the death penalty. What I know already is that espionage is treason, not whistle blowing.

A lady who never took out an educational loan in her life and thinks each state should have the power to decide whether or not to apply the federal disability act is going to be heading up education.

no, I'm not wrong. the election wasn't hacked. And who hacked the emails is only important from a privacy/security standpoint. It's influence on the election is not proven. What's far more important than the source is the content. But Democrats need to reason to call the legitimacy of the election into question so they're grasping at straws and people like you are buying it hook, line and sinker.
