Ok, I'm just going to have to say it

Kovacs is hurt. He can't run with that leg brace. Believe me it sucks. I couldn't do it when I played.

here comes the kovacs hate lol. he was playing not at full speed today and made a good defensive play late. he had a bad game but it was all him trying to pursue like he usually can and didnt have the speed today. he deserves to wear that jersey just as much as he earned the scholarship he is on now.

Yep, MB09 defeats the whole "smart people go to Michigan' meme

Well, then, no one should wear them. He's a senior captain. Who gets it instead?

They don't have to give it out to anyone. The #1 jersey isn't given out to anyone because there isn't a player on the team worthy of it.

You obviously don't get the purpose and point of the ceremony of distributing these numbers. Like so many other matters that elude you. The #1 tradition is a totally different one.

Oh I get it - but I think we do it wrong. They should be able to not hand one of the numbers out should there not be an elite player at the position.

When Roundtree graduates are we going to give the #21 to Jeremy Jackson just because we have to hand it out? I hope not. What's the point in having an elite number given to someone who isn't elite?
