Before playoffs stared I predicted Muskegon and Allen Park to make it. I should have known better and picked St. Marys.
Semifinal scores.
Muskegon 19, Edwardsburg 8.
Orchard Lake St Mary's 49, Dearborn Divine Child 7.
Muskegon (12-1) vs Orchard Lake St Mary's 9-4.
Muskegon has the most wins all time in the state of Michigan and since 1950 they are 470-189-10. They have been in 5-3 all time in championship games. 2-0 in class A final games, and 3-3 in division 2 final games. they have meet 3 times and muskegon is 2-1 all time verses OLSM including 1-1 in title games.
Orchard Lake St. Mary's is a private school that always peeks this time of the year. They play up all season which accounts for the losses they get. They are 425-170-3 all-time since 1956 and they have been in amazing now 14 finals counting this years. they are 1-0 in C finals.
1-0 in CC finals. 2-1 in division 4 finals, and 3-4 in division 3 finals. 7-6 overall in title games. Both teams play tough teams all season. Heck two of OLSM losses are to Detroit Catholic Central who is in the D1 title game. OLSM is two time defending Champion in division 3 but I think the Big Reds in a nail biter by 3 to 5 points.
Points for and against.
Muskegon (1052)
653/151 with 2 shutouts this year.
