Get StartedJust said on the radio that he believes that Bush will be a Lion after all is said and done. Dave Birkett also noted that the interest is very real.
Anyone totally against this? Does it depend on the price?
You mean it's not all doom and gloom because we have free agency and a draft to fill holes?

It's not all doom and gloom, but it's also not all rainbows, sunshine, and kitties purring.
True but Mayhew does a good job and actually learns lessons and adapts (see 2012 character draft after 2011) and has proven he has the ability to obtain key free agents. 2013 is a big proove it year.
It's his last year if he fails...or at least should be his last year.
Everyone is worth it at the right price. Bush isnt worth more than RB-share money at this point. He's a good compliment, and a good returner, but not someone we should be expecting to suddenly be an impact player.
I called this weeks ago. Overpay to bring in Reggie Bush. Fail.
Who is saying over-priced? You say over-priced on the whole NFL, eventually you're be right.
Not too mention 99% of our FAs are overpaid. Do we really want to be stuck with 30 year old Reggie Bush guaranteed (and dead by that point) money? If Mayhew is a long term guy like everyone claims this is dumb.

A refresher on our conversation. YOU said Mayhew won't overpay him to come here. Am I assuming too much that you ment if he would come here we would have to pay him a lot?
And I still feel that way. Why would he want to come here?
Money. Only reason. Getting paid like a number 1 back that wasn't scrapped by the Saints and Phins. Sucker born every minute.
There are a lot more suckers besides Mayhew.
