Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play?
Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play?
That was 6-2-1967. (in the U.S)
I would have thought it was 6-2-1947.
That date was just about right in between the less than three months gap between the debuts of Jackie Robinson and Larry Doby.
It wouldn?t have been 20 years ago to the day, but pretty close.
Maybe that?s what the Beatles were talking about.
Maybe Sergeant Pepper is a composite of Branch Rickey and Bill Veeck.
Maybe the band represents Major League Baseball specifically and American society as a whole.
yep. Bobby Orr.
Not quite there yet, Tinsel ..I'm only 46 (for now). Will be in Encino next Thursday as well ...having lunch with a client who manages Suppan's account. I guess his place there closed down - best chicken wings ever!
