I think I only ever opened that web page once.

Why would it be called HTTV?

It's a solid preview piece and I've contributed to their fundsource for both the print mag and to help their weekly radio show at Ashley's. Not a huge fan of their message board, but the preview is solid.

Asking because my kiddo has to have something to read on him at all times at school (all the kids do) and he took that in on Monday so he's been pouring through it this week and schooling me on the opposition's strengths & weaknesses.

two guys who lived in my dorm freshman year had apparently been friends with mgobrian when we were in college, or knew him or something.

they later became mgoblog posters.

these guys both kinda sucked, & were annoying to be around, but since we all lived on the same floor in the dorm, we had a lot of mutual friends, & so I hung out with them sometimes.

I saw a couple of them years later - this was just after RichRod had finally been fired. I mentioned something like "Finally. good riddance!" and they both started in on me about how Lloyd Carr was a terrible coach, left the cupboard bare, RichRod never got a fair shot, and it wasn't his fault the defenses were bad, and bla bla bla...

I was like... holy fucking shit, real people still believe this stuff.

I go to Mgoblog everyday and to the message board. I find it is a solid source of information, but you have to bring your waders. There's a lot of bullshit, but it's a place where someone is bound to break real news and there are a few "insiders."

They get information about recruits committing pretty quickly after they commit and do nice write-ups about those commits.

It's a free site, so I don't expect it to be perfect.

I mostly just read the message board, though. I rarely comment on anything.

plus the stupidity can be entertaining sometimes.

I find Brian to be pretty irritating and his posts are not interesting to me at all anymore. He was interesting the first couple of years, but most of his shit, I ignore now.

That site is worth every penny.

UMHoops is the other I subscribe to and it is outstanding. I'm a Michigan basketball junkie, so it does a great job of getting me my fix. I haven't twitched or had the shakes since I signed up! :spin::cheers:

I just went over to check it out ...so that's where all those former ESPN writers went! How much does it cost? The UM page looks solid but can't access full article w/o log in.
