Yikes, fusion is the worst kind of surgery to have. For cervical vertebrae they actually enter through the front of your neck. In addition to that, it sounds like he had a c2-c3 fusion which the c1 and c2 vertebrae are responsible fore 80% of the rotation in your neck. Not good for a qb not to be able to turn his head left or right. This could be a career ender for sure.
 
I'd feel better if we played Indy this season. But because NE and the Jets easy wins, not so much.
 
Not sounding good for the man. You start fusing neck bones and it's pretty hard to play through, especially for a Qb on the wrong end of 30.

50/50 chance he's started his last game.
