Other Week 4 games

Martinez took Bucks D apart last year. Different D this year. Next drive will be the story of the game, I think. If Huskers can cut the lead in half, it should be a game. If Bucks force them to punt, it?s over.

They had their shot right there. Martinez had a td right there but shits on himself and throws the pick instead.

Martinez looks to be throwing this game. Not a receiver anywhere and another pick. OSU getting ready to score again. What a pathetic display of football. I thought, as did many, that Nebraska would at least show up. 24-0

Urban turned an uber-talented squad over to Ryan. The team then got better with the addition of Fields. And as a first year coach, Ryan is motivated. Anyone who beats Bucks this year will have played a helluva game.

Just watched Frost?s post game on BTN Live. Impressive. He is going to get the job done in Lincoln. Huskers are on the way back under him.

Is it just me or has the beginning of this season been about as boring and uneventful as any in recent memory? Save for the Georgia-Notre Dame game last week the matchups have all been garbage and the games haven't been good at all. I was tuning in for a lot of that Clemson-UNC game yesterday and that could have been a heck of an upset, but I never truly believed it would happen. Bama hasn't even played anyone with a pulse yet. There are a bunch of team in the top 10 where we don't even really know how good they are yet.

agree. how often does that work against a better team? and they were at home too. goddamit

Yeah. I didn't like the decision to go for 2. I said it at the time and I still say it. You're giving your team only 1 chance against a superior opponent. In OT, you get several chances. UNC was playing well and was at home.

Then there was over a minute left. Even IF UNC got the 2 point conversion, Clemson had a minute to go down and get a fg and win. IF they tie the game, maybe Clemson isn't as motivated with that minute.

I'm ok with going for 2 when you're the underdog. The longer a game drags out, the more likely the superior team will find a way to win. So going for broke on that single play to get 3 yards isn't a bad way to go. But, I'd have only done that if it was in the final seconds. As you say there was still a minute left. Plenty of time for Clemson to go down and get a FG anyway.

I will add too, that UNC was REALLY close to getting that onside kick.
