I about pissed myself during player introductions.

...Aaron Rodgers.. Dubuque Community College

WTF?

and then...

Jared Allen... Culinary Academy

I am laughing so hard because I know right now there are 20,000 morons on Allen's wikipedia page going "I didn't know the culinary academy had a football team..."

First time that I have ever seen the Minny Visqueens in purple jerseys and pants...they sorta look like grape popsicles, just missing the wooden sticks jammed halfway up their butthholes...>:D

But still their unis are visually better than the recent all-brown Cleveland Skidmarks who didn't have any stripes down the sides...heh!!

24-17@ halftime @ Minny sucks!! Peterson the reason that they were even respectable last year or this season.

Does any team in football benefit from the salary cap more than the Packers?

They are a very small market team. While they have a loyal following and their home games are always sold out (they travel very well too, I've seen thousands of Packer Backers at San Fran for a game)... they just don't have a big stadium or the population to sell billions in jersey's, hats, etc...

If the cap wasn't in place, Dallas would be about a 300 million dollar team, and Green Bay would be at 45 million. They are really the Oakland A's of the NFL.

But parity... TV revenue... League Rev Shares... Salary cap.... keep them in it every year.

Packers vs Bears @ Lambeau next Monday night during the Lions bye week. Either the Bears lose and drop a full game behind the 2nd place Lions, OR less likely the Packers lose and the Lions "gain" a 3-way tie with them for first in the NFCN...a win-WIN in either "case" for idle Detroit..
