Panthers 4 Red Wings 3 Final Shootout

Yup, that 2nd period was awful.

Couple chances late in the third and in OT. AA scored beut but was ruled offside, he needs to learn the old grind line extend the leg that Maltby/Draper were experts at.

I'll try to find clip of the disallowed goal. He was clearly offside, had he kept back skate on ice and extended back coulda kept onside.

I forgot to mention, Wings had 2 shots in 2nd if memory serves correct. They just went full coast mode.

That was one bad period. hey go stretches with few shots way too often.

As far AA, unfortunately the team overall is not good at extending the leg. Maybe it's harder because he can't control his speed.

I doubt it, Draper was one of the fastest skaters of the early 00s.

Its probably a skill the kids didn't pick up on yet.

I wasn't referring to all fast skaters but AA just seems to lose his balance, how many times does he go in on the goalie or breakaway and just slide into the boards.

On the goalie he is just going to fast.

At the little Kaiser the ice is piss poor.
