"According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the weapon was left by Sean Simpson. If his name sounds familiar, he's the teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas who said he'd be willing to arm himself while on duty."

~~snip~~

"According to the sheriff's office report, Simpson told deputies he'd left his gun by accident. By the time the chemistry teacher realized his mistake, the Glock was already in the hands of a drunk homeless man who had picked it up and fired. The bullet hit a wall."

Wonder how Dana Loesch would spin this story?

BLM crisis actor attempts to discredit the NRA?

no. not possible.

more guns laying around can only be a good thing, and will make the country safer.

or lose their temper

No one can possibly disagree with this.

I considered posting that article about Sinclair's Chairman Smith decidedly lacking of being a "State Farm" type of neighbor yesterday.

I was going to post it in the Sinclair media thread, but it was also germane here.

and I was surprised when I did a search for "accidental shootings" how many hits came up that involved cops or firearms safety instructors.

I noticed I also posted the same article twice; not sure what the other link was supposed to be, but there are like hundreds of incidents to choose from.

at least there is a happy ending to the story. The homeless guy got arrested and probably got a good nights rest in jail vs. sleeping in the street.

A feel good story if you ask me ;)

in south Florida, sleeping the streets is probably more restful than spending the night in jail - except during hurricane season.
