this is apparently true:
As Ryan and Obama were putting the final touches on the spending deal, the now-bearded Speaker told the president that some on the right have accused him of being a Muslim, Al Hunt recounted in a Bloomberg View column.

?The president, who has long faced the same absurd allegation, chuckled,? Hunt wrote.

and these people can vote. and we're supposed to take their positions on politics seriously.

and if u don't they cry "liberal bias!", tell you that you're mean, and run to the warm embrace of Fox News and Breitbart, where they can rest in the comfortable reassurance that they're right to be afraid of the scary muslims, gays, atheists, mexicans, and blacks, & Bill O'Reilly will protect them.

don't kid yourself...there are plenty of "tards" on both sides!

oh shoot, I forgot all the times Liberals engaged in racist smears of politicians who did things they don't like.

thanks for keeping me honest...

you don't have to be "engaged in racist smears of politicians" to be a "tard"

you forgot about Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, literally every black conservative being labeled an Uncle Tom and a traitor to their race and worse? Or you're such a biased hack that you excuse racism so long as it is directed toward the right people?

No, it isn't true; not really.

And Twitter is littered with references to the Wisconsin Republican?s new ?Muslim beard.?

The idea that more conservative Republicans might be trying to conceive of a way that Ryan could be "primaried" is true; everyone knows there's a division in that party between moderate conservatives and conservatives; that's politics and BAU.

Comments on the twittersphere about Ryan's new "Muslim beard" are obviously jokes.

When Ryan said something about it to Obama he was making a joke.

That's why the President laughed.

I don't' know what presidential aspirations Ryan still has; he probably has them.

I don't know if the Republican nominee, whoever that is going to be, is going to be offering Ryan a second go round on the national ticket.

I don't know if Ryan has already started to regretting taking his new job; too early to tell.

I think Ryan would do very well in the general election if he were to ever get the Republican nomination.
