Davis and Drummond showing the difference between a great and good player right now. Drummond on pace for a very solid 22-10, but Davis single handedly dragging his team to the finish line and could easily end up going for 40 and 20.

Davis always seems to play really great verses us..
Drummond sure takes a big hit after today.

Some of the criticism against Drummond is warranted in this game. But Drummond wasn't the primary defender on Davis for large chunks of the game and he really shouldn't have been. His job is to guard the paint. He didn't do a good job of that this game but having him guard a guy taking 16-24 ft shots is pulling him from his primary role which is to rebound and defend the paint. SVG here freely admits he did a terrible job of coaching because he didn't double Davis.
