Penguins looking to get Suter's Rights

Really hoping the Wings step in and get Suter's rights. Also, havent heard anything on a new Parise deal yet either.

Some speculation that the Wings/Caps might swap rights of Hudler/Semin

Damn I was Hoping we would get Suter and Parise..

Who knows if the Penguins can get him, but they have enough cap space to offer him a good deal. But we can offer more.

Getting Suter's rights would really mean nothing IMO. If he listens to his agent at all, there is no way he signs before he can test the market for his free agent value. I know he wants to go to a certain list of teams but it would be dumb to sign before all of them can make an offer. He could leave millions on the table and we all have to remember the contract he is about to sign will be his last big contract so he has to make sure he gets as much as he can

I'm not concerned with Pittsburgh. They have to worry about Crosby's contract, and Suter already said he wants to stay in the Western Conference. I don't think they'll end up with Parise, but I wouldn't mind Suter/Semin.
