Pinstripe Bowl vs Wake Forest

Finally a defensive breakdown allows Gillison to be wide open behind the d for a big gainer. Might be the first throw over 10 yards today.

Kinda over that read option run we run. For some reason its pathetically slow. Lewerke holds the ball in Collins stomach so long that 5 guys are usually on top of them before he makes his read.

Our senior class is soooooo bad. Dowell gives up the first td on bad coverage and now Thompson does the same. So glad they're done after today.

So glad I?m about to lose $ on betting the under today. This team can?t even suck when I want them to

Dowell, Thompson and Willekes no shows so far. Raquan pretty much the only senior defensive player that showed up today.

Nailer wide open and Lewerke throws him out of bounds. That should've been a huge play

My god I'm glad this is his last game. Zero touch. Fires a ball behind a wide open Collins for a pick. Just can't put games away

Now Lewerke stupidly has no idea where he is on the field and throws an illegal pass. Next play we fumble it away. Just can't put a game away

Now that was a nice throw out of the end zone to mosley. Wish he'd show more of that

MSU cant even score when the other team is trying to let them lmao. dumbass accidently tripped over his own damn feet :D

Defense won it in the 2nd half. We should've hung 50 points on that Wake defense. Same old finishing drives problems tho. Tons of yards between the 20's. Just not many points to show for it.

Tough season. Good way to send the seniors out and there was a lot to like today. Coaching needs some new blood and we need a QB to emerge. Next year is a mystery, but there is certainly some talent.

O Line gave up 1 sack and 5 tackles for loss. That’s a really solid effort to help us to 500 yards of offense. For one of the first times in his career, Lewerke has all day to throw for multiple drives.

The way I see it, next year depends on a couple key staff moves. Bollman is supposedly retiring. Staten needs to go too. Salem earned another year. Treadwell needs to go too. Bring in an OL coach familiar with the scheme who can also be a running game coordinator. Samuel back to WR coach. Bring in a special teams guru who can also coach TEs. And bring in a young recruiter to fill that last coaching spot.

Personnel wise, we have a lot of offensive pieces. Need the QB, I think Thorne will be the guy, he?s accurate and a football prodigy. On defense, need to add a speedy safety, but with all the losses on that side I think the only one that is really tough to replace is Kenny Willekes. Willekes was dominant after getting healthy this year, he was fighting an injury that hampered his production in early games. Still finished with 16.0 TFLs and 10.5 sacks. Finding a pass rusher opposite Panasiuk is the key.

7-6 is a tough season. Two fluky losses, but those were failures by the staff. This could get turned around pretry quickly.
