Detroit, Miami and houston the only teams that give up more than they score. 3 shitty teams.

Yeah for sure but I just so not get it. The lions offense should be better then it is.. I guess losing both running backs and Calvin make it so hard on our red zone offense but I feel the play calling is really subpar and especially inside the 20.

I wish we won the division so the Lions could hang a damn banner and get the Packers jinx off our shoulders but I really do think that the Seahawks are more beatable then the Giants.. Even if we would have played them at home..Just my opinion.

Last years team was just as bad scoring points, maybe even slightly worse.

Edit: Just checked, slightly better last season.

Been saying that ever since I found out the loser played the Seahawks. GB is getting bounced Sunday night

In-fact the year before, 2014, sucked as well on offense. 3 years tells me this is not an offensive team.

Their defense is good, but at the same time their offense puts pressure on the other teams to score. There have been times where their opponents opt not to go for a field goal because they need a TD.

So a good defense gets a bit of boost in PPG against because of this. I don't think they are quite as good as their rank indicates.

Yeah that is a great observation . NE's offense probably puts so much stress on other teams to keep up. Team looks up and they are already 14 points behind, and playing catch up.

They are 3rd (among playoff teams) in terms of yards allowed per game.

Lions 13th in defense in PPG (with many injuries this year)
20th in offense (with many injuries)

Playoff bound

93.3 rating for Stafford (13th). Finger had a lot to do why it wasn't 100
3.7 YPC for the offense (27th). Allowed 4.4 YPC (20th)
Allowed 106.5 QB rating (32nd). Not good but had injuries.
1,077 yards and 4 TDs for Tate
930 yards and 4 TDs for Marvin Jones in 15 games. Two 1,000 yard receivers if Jones played against Saints
711 yards and 2 TDs for Ebron in 13 games
584 yards and 8 TDs for Boldin. Top 5 in first downs on 3rd down
371 yards and 5 TDs for Riddick in 11 games (he was missed down stretch)
Prater 31/36. Also missed two extra points. But was 7/7 from 50+
Only 26 sacks . Allowed 37 sacks

14 turnovers forced, 15 allowed (franchise low and 5th best in league)

That's all great but we need to open up the offense and score more then 21.6 points a game in my opinion. Last 2 weeks the defense was really exposed .. Jim Bob needs to be better. Even you can agree with this .

They need to score on one more possession a game. They have the talent and coaching to do. Just fucking execute. Seattle has a good D but they have holes now with Thomas gone

The Lions defense can hold. Rodgers made plays. Wilson hasn't this year. Only 3.6 YPC for Wilson rushing. They can't run, they can't protect. Lions defense can feast in this game and force turnovers finally

We hang 'playoff appearance' banners in Detroit though, so you get your wish! :lmao:
