Who plays 3B? Who plays LF? Either Miggy or Headley are playing a "new" position. Granted, I like Headley as a player. But I like him best as a 3B.

Gregerson is what? And don't say closer. A San Diego pitcher, pitching in the best pitcher's park in MLB. That would be falling for a Coors hitter of old.

The idea wasn't out of the box, it was just dumb, just like most/all of your "pipe dream" ideas. You do it all the time. No one cares, these threads just end up as forum spam.


If you wanna keep doing it, just make one thread that you continually update. It will be easier to ignore that way. Or you could try to come up with better ideas that would actually be worth discussing instead of just being dismissed.




Oh, and as for using one of Headley or Cabrera in left? Theres a reason they both play 3B. They blow in the OF.

We just got rid of Delmon and his slow lumbering lead-footed ability. And you want another less than average speed guy out in one of the largest LF's in all of baseball?

No thank you, Miggy should never play anywhere but 3B, 1B, or DH. He's played LF before, but he was like 21 at the time.

Offered for the oft injured huston street, who Magglio took deep in 2006 or gregerson. To me this doesn't make sense trading a possible 200 innings for a reliever of this ilk.
