I'll go 9-3

with losses in

Arlington

South Bend (Hope I'm wrong just kinda feel like it's gonna happen. Probably hsoulda lost last year)

Lincoln

..unbeaten at home.

12-0

I'm all in

Although I love the optomism, I am going to say 8-4.

The lack of experience on the lines, depth issues, and a very hard schedule contribute to respectable season. While anything can happen. I think Michigan is still a year or two away from being back to dominance.

With that said. The Alabama game is going to tell us a lot about team 133. If we pull the upset, I may start drinking the koolaid.

12-1 win over Wisconsin in the BTC.

I don't expect to beat Bama...not with our depth. I also think Ohio has a chance at beating us since it's on the road and they'll have nothing to play for.

We will beat Iowa. If we don't, I will punt a baby. That is one of my predictions.

12-1 overall. Close loss to Alabama Man! Game against pO$U will be close.

12-0 with close ones in O$U AND BTN TITLE.. WERE GONNA SHOCK THE WORLD.. TURN OVERS AND A LARGE HALF TIME LEAD (21-7)AGAINST BAMA, they dont catch back up like SEC games in the past. WTF Just happened!!!!

I've said 8-4 in the past and that 8-4 in 2012 would be equal to 2011's record, if not more impressive in ways.

But ....there is one game I have revised my opinion on and would now say 9-3.

Difference nowadays is that regardless of overall record, the Leaders/Legends division makes beating Sparty & the Buggeaters more important than beating Air Force, in some ways.

Wow...got some serious optomism around here. Lol

*Alabama - L
I think the game will be closer than expected. Michigan might even get an early lead and look good in the game. But I think Alabama will slowly overpower us because of their depth that we just don't have on the lines. I'm predicting Michigan will finish within 10 points of Bama.

Air Force - W
I think we might get a scare in this game but ultimately we'll win the game. We might even pull away big in the 3rd or 4th quarter once we figure out their tripple option.

Massachusetts - W
We win by a lot.

@Notre Dame - L
I think ND finally gets us. They're not the best team on the schedule but I think they have this game circled as a must win, given our recent success and late-game circus plays to win.

@Purdue - W
I hate Danny Hope

Illinois - W
New coach, nothing special = fairly easy win for us.

Michigan State - W
We end the streak at home. The game is close and there are some scares. I think MSU may even start off with a lead but we come back to win and Denard finally has a big day.

@Nebraska - W
We didn't have trouble with Nebraska last year and I don't think we do this year.

@Minnesota - W
It's Minnesota and they're terrible.

Northwestern - W
Again, not that great of a team and without Persa they shouldn't be much of a threat

Iowa - W
At home they should be easier to handle. I think we might even blow the doors off Iowa this year. We should have an offensive skill group fully functioning and capable at this point in the season.

@Ohio State - W
This is more of a hope than a true prediction. I don't know what to expect of this game and at this point I see it as a 50/50 shot. If the game last year was in C-bus, they likely may have won the game. We'll have to see how they look under Meyer before anyone can really gauge how good OSU will be this year. + it's their bowl game.

Final record 10-2, undefeated in the big 10.

10-2. a road loss to bama or ND & a Big Ten road loss.

Ugh. I hate to think of either happening though.

screw it... 12-0!!!! National Champs! The year 2 miracle that we saw at ohio, bama, UF... happens in Michigan. (again, if you consider that '97 was Carr's 2nd year as a HC, not counting the interim 1st year in '95)

Michigan will beat these teams:
Ala, ND, MSU and OSU.

There will be an unexpected upset in there. They will play for the B10 title.

I predict Michigan will not go 12-0.

Something really, really bad would have to happen for that to occur.

I am going to say 9-3

Loses to Bama ND and Neb

I am not happy about it but thats what I see. 2 other games concern me are Sparty and Ohio.

isn't it amazing how far we've come so fast under Hoke?

remember where people were predicting we'd finish in 2011?

The gamut ran between the people who really bought into the idea that a coach needs "his guys" in order to win... so we would take another step back from RR, and finish worse than we did in 2010, to people who never really bought into that idea, and expected improvement to at least 8 wins, maybe 9.

now we're expected to contend for the Big Ten title again, meaning 6 conference wins (at least), and expected to beat the patsies on the sched (AF/UMass).

You are exactly right. It also shows how great of job Hoke and his staff has done getting all the players to understand what it takes to be a U of M player. After the season listening to all the seniors especially Molk and Martin about the difference in work level and especially the amount of detail work done with the defense.

Looking at the schedule:

I've already called the upset against Bama. Then we take care of business the next two weeks as we prepare for ND. We go all out and beat them soundly with an upcoming bye to recover the next week. After the bye we get on a roll up to and including beating little brother, but then comes a let down with the big win and the Huskers get the better of us in Lincoln. We pick up steam beating Minny, NW, and Iowa and culminate the season by beating the Buckeye's in Columbus.

11-1 regular season

We then beat Wisc in the B1G Championship Game. 12-1

The perfect end to the season would be to beat LSU or USC in the NCG, but that would be asking for a bit too much. :)

The SEC and ESPN have already fixed the opponents for the title game.
