Note : This is a stacked semifinals. PW avenged last year's loss to New Lothrop who was d7 defending champ in a great regional final. But sadly for them the other side of the semifinals has 3 time defending d6 title holders in Jackson Lumen Christi who should be clear favorites to win d7. Three undefeateds and Iron Mountain handled Traverse City St Francis which shocked me.

Public (335) Pewamo-Westphalia 13-0 vs (314) Jackson Lumen Christi 12-0 private.

Pewamo-Westphalia comes in Undefeated with with 8 shutouts and a points for and against sitting at 549-63. The four other games they gave up only 28 points. They beat last year's champion New Lothrop 36-35 for the other thirty five points. Since 2011 PW has been in four title games going 2-2 including three in a row from 2016-18 winning back to back the last two. those are the only four I see. Since 1961 they are 389-183-6, and have made the playoffs 16 years in a row and only missed once since 1998. That is the good.

The issue is they are up against JLC who is also undefeated. JLC is 452-109 since 1968. They have made the playoffs every year but 1 since 1995. They have 2 shutouts and only 2 other games they held the opposition under 10. JLC's scored a even 400 giving up 148. Also JLC has won the last 3 Division 6 championships. Ok if i counted right this is how many title games JLC has been in. They are 3-0 in D6 title games. 5-2 in d5 title games. 3-0 in B title games. that is 11-2 since 1977. They play much bigger schools then PW plays. Maybe PW will keep it close. They are pretty good.

JLC -5

Pw gets ball first They got one first down and then lost yardage and had to punt. Pw forces a 3 and out on jlc?s first possession. Both these defenses are pretty darn good. Pw three and out, and after a short punt JLC has ball a PW 49...
Fake punt on 4th. JLC gets first down. JLC completes a 3rd and 10. PW coach get schooled by the old veteran coach from JLC right now.. JLC 3rd and 9 for another first down at PW 6.

End of first 0-0 . 3rd and goal at the Pw 5 or 6. 13th play of the drive coming up for JLC, and 25 yard field goal is no good. PW Holds.

PW goes 3 and out again and can?t move the ball. JLC ball at JLC 45. PW defense is going to get tired. They need to flip the FP. PW forces a punt and after a long return are set up at the JLC 27 yard line. Pw has to stop going East and west. Lost yards both downs
3rd 15, and now 4th and 9. Pw wastes a Golden opportunity. Terrible play calls by PW.. Just awful .
JLC has a 3rd and 8 with 3:07 left in the half Pw uses a time out. Pw gets a sack on 3rd down. Forces a punt. Short punt sets PW up at JLC 45. Pw is dumb trying to run wide. They should scrap running wide.
Ball is intercepted on 3rd down. JLC ball at JLC 45. Pw wasted great FP Again. Then JLC throws a interception and Pw returns it to the JLC 40 lol.

3 seconds left and like Pw throws 25 yard td pass. Wr makes a adjust a tad before the dB coverage.

JLC does not complete. 4th and 3 and Pw takes over on downs. Early 3rd. pw gets a first down then has to punt. JLC ball on JLC 25. Pw forces another punt. Short punt has ball at Pw 45. Both of these coaches are stupid trying to go wide on each other defense. Just awful play calling . Whoever adjust and just starts going north and south may win. Another punt JLC ball at JLC 26. JLC 3rd and 8 packers forces another punt at the end of the third quarter. Still 7-0 PW.

4th 1 at JLC 5 gets first down.
1sT goal 4. No gain.
2nd goal 4. 1 yard.
3rd goal 3 . Dummies try to throw and he is sacked he fumbles. Such a stupid play call.
