How can you really get much larger than 18 mil though for a DT? lol. The guy isnt going to be making much more than that or the lions are dumb.

when you restructure you're just taking guaranteed money and moving it around...either to take a bigger hit this year which is not what the Lions would do.....they'd just move money down the road for Suh but still end up taking the hit at sometime.

do Stafford this year....hope Suh has a fantastic year in 2013 and then ship him for a couple of high picks :cheers:

converted base to bonus in 2012....saving them $$$ in 2012 but making his hit larger this year....like I said borrow from1 year and pay for it in another.

drafting high with CJ , Stafford and Suh was going to hurt sometime and the time is now...especially since the cap hasn't risen since the new CBA.

Lewand does a good job with the cap despite the old cba. Kvb and peterman should have been cut anyway based on terrible performance. Raiola pay cut done now burleson pay cut and extend stafford. We will have money to retain Houston Delmas and durant and add a solid free agent or 2
