Wings to clinch have to win in regulation or overtime. Wings could get shutout of the playoffs with a shootout win if a Boston wins in regulation or overtime and ties detrioit with 39 row wins I missed what tiebreaker it was but they said Boston had it. FLYERS would also have to get more then 95 points in this scenario. Second tiebreaker after ROW is winning the season series..

I think you are right .
The loss tonight dropped them into first wildcard postion and verses the Panthers in round one who they have played good against this year and verses a team everyone thinks has over achieved , and nhl network guys we're speculating that's who they wanted to play but I am not buying it and I think they're going to try for the two points hard to get to 101 points . Home ice in at least one round I think and out of the wildcard.

Everyone on Mlive is taking about who the rangers would rather face in round one..If the rangers finish ahead of the islanders its pittsburgh in round one.. If they finish behind or tied with the islanders its the Panthers.

Two games in a row Jeff has used Jurco and healthy scratched Mantha. he played decent verses Philadelphia but like everyone last night he was a no show. Two games running the PP is now 0-9 . Maybe its time to put Mantha back in.
