Came across this link while browsing last night. I have always been a little curious about the Usenet, but never actually got around to paying a monthly fee to obtain a supplier,. The Usenet is apparently a "Pandora's Box" full of porn, warez, hacks and cracks, but so far, I have been unable to get past their damned registration dialog box (with a fucking re-CAPTCHA, of course )...as yet, probably b/c so many are trying to do the same thing at the same time.

If anyone is interested, maybe you will have better luck than I have, BUT you will also need to download and install a suitable newsreader to browse the Usenet with, and no, I am not gonna provide a link to any free or open source newsreaders, but will add a hint: browse the "Sourceforge.net" website to find those that are compatible with your OS.
Edit: I switched browsers from Firefox to Google Chrome and was successful!!
Yay!!
Forgot to mention: use the UK as your home base, otherwise you will be sent a confirmation email in another language.
