Former No. 4 overall pick Aaron Curry has lost his starting strong-side linebacker job to rookie K.J. Wright.

OOOOPPPSSSS

LOL i heard that this afternoon. Someone's going to be unemployed soon. All the guaranteed jack has been paid, he's voided years on this deal....he's about to be someone else's project.

I really have no idea if this says anything about Curry given that Carroll is calling the shots there.

Watch us pick the kid up (if he's released) and turn him into a pro bowler.

I remember the Oher debate also...another guy who is having patience wear thin in Baltimore...2 more real bad false starts last week.

Andre Smith is another one from that draft that6 has already been told he will not be back next year. talk about a fat tub of goo he was a huge waste from min 1. Most of the high picks that year havnt panned out. We got 3 solid starters out of the first 33 picks and if you include Alphonso Smith 4 of the top 37. But a lot of busts surrounding them.

Curry was touted as a possible #1 pick...unlike Oher, Rey M who were in the bottom third of the 1st round..how much dough did Seattle pony up for this guy???

LOL...i do. oh how retarded the mLive crowd is.

More people on our board didnt want Staff then did. The main reason I didn't want Curry was because you can't pay an OLB #1 money before the rookie scale was in effect. I did want Staff but I will say he has developed better than I expected.

it was more like 50/50....but man were those some hateful threads

Yeah I can remember some fights people had with Slick that were very heated.

Because some wanted a p,ayer who wasn't worth top money. Before the recent wage scale for rookies, you could only justify top money to a QB, LT or DE. Too many didn't understand that. An OLB would have sucked at 1.
