RIP Rich 3rd party candidate man, who was the last such candidate to garner a significant portion of the popular vote.

I remember my dad voted for Perot, and then my extreme Republitard grandparents went ballistic on him, and got us a subscription to Rush Limbaugh's conservative newsletter. Since all that occurred during my formative years, I'm proud to say I survived that without turning into a dumbass like all of them.

Well, they also believed that Bill Clinton would turn us into a Communist country, and UN operatives would show up in black helicopters would seize control of our nation (and everyone's guns). None of that happened.

...but then starting in 2001-2008 they thought the federal government was A-OK again, and all those concerns went away for ever because a Republican was in the WH. (They all died before Obama was elected, so I never got to hear their opinions regarding him, but I am pretty sure I can predict what they'd be!)

He used to ride around his property on a horse in his bathrobe (among other crazy as shit). How do I know...? No, not because I subscribe to Pedophile Monthly to get the latest dirt gossip on Epstein but because my friend's Dad (retired Texas State Trooper) was the head of his personal security detail.

Oh, and I also know Perot's main finance guy for two decades - he's named Jim Boon and recently moved from La Jolla, CA to the Boulder area.
