RIP Mike Sadler

Killed in a car accident last night with curent Cornhusker punter Foltz.

He was involved in some amazing plays for us and was a legend in Twitter. Kid was beyond a good student, he was almost a Rhodes Scholar. Had his masters in economics after 5 years at MSU.

Sadler was supposed to start Law School at Stanford next month.

Can't believe it, absolutely heartbreaking. One of my favorite special teams players ever, my friend was friends with him and he picked us up and gave us a ride home one night after a night out, super nice guy. Smart as hell too. Same age as I am, just a scary reminder that every day is a gift, you just never know.

Sad day. My wife has a couple of cousins that went to high school and played football with him. They have always said good things about him.

he was going to enroll in Stanford Law School in the fall.

Side note, only one big ten coach didn't mention him or Sam Folz in their opening statement at media days. It was the same coach who thought it was appropriate to wear a hat

Yeah, I noticed that listening to all the coaches yesterday. Pretty sure somebody must've pointed that out to him after because he finally brought it up with the press later in the day.

I honestly don't think he does it all on purpose. He's an accidental asshole.
