Apparently Cano does not mind playing for a ballclub with a dysfunctional FO, and needs to make many more moves before its teams can be considered legit contenders.

IIRC, Cano had a rep for dogging it when running to first on a lazy chopper or grounder or a shallow FB, or advancing on throws.

I just read where he did not want to play for Girardi. Apparently it was because Cano wanted to hit in the middle of the lineup rather than 2nd. Last season he hit much better when batting 2. So Manager knows best in this case.

Edit:I see that you posted it, Turok. Either way, unless Seattle goes big with the pocketbook elsewhere they're still a 4th place team.
