Romney finances

missed the point :lmao: you went on a tangent about him calling Lance Armstrong an American Hero in which you were 100% wrong on who he was talking about.

big difference Lance and Neil.....Obama and Romney , yes said the same thing but there isn't much else to say...the guy was what they quoted him to be.

come back when he calls Barry Bonds an American Hero....

No. There was no tangent, just an example I admitted was mistaken on my part from the Denver newspaper site App and its "breaking news" alerts. I should have used [insert US Olypic gymnast] instead of Lance the Doper. Point from the beginning was how stupid it is for Presidents and candidates to feel compelled to comment on social news (with advice from their "people") or be crucified for it and made a similar remark about Ted Kennedy's calling Sosa & McGwire "Sooser and Mike."

Besides, why do you care ...curling season is months away!

Bingo. I'm not anti-rich people doing capitalist things to get rich. I'm anti-powerful people re-writing the rules to their own benefit. That's not capitalism.

Same here.

I have no problem with Mittens or anyone out there being rich. But there needs to be one set of rules for everyone, not one set for the Peasants and another set for the Lords.

It's not about him being rich, it's about how he got that way.

And who gives a fuck? Maybe every poor S.O.B. that ever worked a hard 40 hours only to have roughly 24% of his earnings taken away in the name of taxes, while a rich guy like Romney who makes money mostly sitting on his ass uses dodges and loopholes (some possibly not even legal) and pays 13%.

And Victors didn't say it does not mean shit to the voters, he said it won't make one side change it's vote from one to the other.

Which is to say, if it was Obama with the finance questions you would be plenty pissed, if Romney had bitch certificate issues, you would care less, you're just not going to change your mind over it. Which is an explanation of the sad state of politics, it's not about the candidate; it about the party.

But its not like he's the only one. And you say every poor SOB blag blah, there are Conservative poor SOB and Liberal poor SOB and they're vote their party line.

But my point was no poor SOB is going to look at that and say, "what no way", and change his vote. Not enough to make a difference. And why would I care about Obama's finances?

Its all about helping the rich or helping the poor and as a white guy in the middle I don't get shit.
