Sanchez, Freeman, or Stafford...

I am a total homer and will say Staff is the best of the 3. Sanchez has instant credibility because he has the playoff wins but he really never has to win games he just has to not fuck them up. With that defense Stanton could take them to the playoffs. Freeman is interesting to me. He is better than I ever thought he would be but then do we really know how good he is? Yes he won 10 games last year but when you look at the 10 wins they were all against bad teams. So this year is key for him and honestly I have been watching them in preseason and yes I know it's just preseason but they don't seem to be on the same page. Wekk 1 is key for both teams if they want to take that next step.

Today, I'd probably take Freeman, but I think this is the season where Stafford establishes himself. I'll probably get knocked for this, but I think Sanchez stinks and he's benefited from having a great team around him (much like Eli).

Sanchez blows. Eli is so much better than him. And when its all said and done Stafford will be remembered as the best of these three.

I know who I'd take last. Sanchez. Freeman is pretty darn good, many of us thought he had talent. So him and Staff.

Nobody will be knocking you for that. 54% career completion percentage doesn't lie.

Freeman (think he's better than Sanchez)
Sanchez (say what you will, but he's been the QB on teams that have gone deep in the playoffs regardless of whether he's been carried or not)
Stafford (missed too many games to make an accurate judgment)

However this could change after this year.

In a HEALTHY scenario......I take Stafford every time....easily.

In a "You're starting a franchise and you have to give one of these three guys $100M over the next 10 years" scenario.....I'd take Freeman. The injury risk with Stafford would be too much.

Sanchize sucks. He hurts the Jets chances of a Super Bowl.

i think if you disregard injuries, I would take stafford. I think anyone with a brain can see that stafford does have the potential to be a top QB in the league. Freeman is nice, but his ceiling is nowhere near Matt's. Sanchez...I still think he'll eventually be one of QBs talked about as elite, but he's so damn inconsistent. Sometimes he's the reason they lose, most times they win despite him, sometimes he's the biggest reason they win.

Tory holt must have smoked crack prior to the show.

Stafford has the best tools of all of them. He just hasn't been healthy, unfortunately. I would take Freeman over Sanchez in a heartbeat. I don't care that Sanchez has been to two AFC championship games, the guy sucks. He was carried by his team.

My friends and I play the Sanchez drinking game... every time he throws a pass under 5 yards or incomplete, you drink. If it's both, you drink twice. It's pretty good.

I don't know about VY but I don't see Sanchez as a top 15 QB ever. I can see Staff being top 10, top 5 once guys like Manning and Brady are gone.

it is close between Freeman and Staff... I think Sanchez will hit his ceiling first and it isn't as high as the other two. Until Staff stays healthy, I would say Freeman (but with an *)

If you take into account their contracts Freeman is getting paid less with more results. Taking into account their situation i think Stafford is ready for a break out year barring any injuries and the Lions CAN be a better team in the near future than the Bucs. With that said...Stafford will be the better QB and get more pub. With all things equal id pick Freeman.

Sanchez doesnt even belong in the same argument.

Freeman has been significantly better than Stafford so far in their careers. I think they are pretty close talent wise. I would take Freeman due to durability.

If i'm going on talent alone, i'm taking Stafford. I just think he's the most talented of the 3. Freeman has a better track record right now because of his health, and he's definitely going to be a solid QB for years to come but give me Staff all day. As for Sanchez - he's fucking brutal. He's surrounded by a sick OLine and really good RB's. Throw in a couple of solid WR's, nice TE and SICK "D" and the kid is laughing. He fell backasswards into a great situation. IMO, he's not even worthy of starting in this league if you think about it. He's poop....

Freeman only beat 1 team over 500. Two QBs on this list are check down masterminds and one has a rocket for an arm and an IQ over 120. Who do you want?
