Not saying he should be fired, because there is no other quality coach out there right now, but I am really sick of Babcock and his complacency with this team. He's won cups with superior talent to anyone else in the league, but take a few key players away, and he's a below average coach.

If you give Scottie Bowman this same team, he wins two cups.

Angry... just angry at the way this team is playing.

You may be right but Bowman and his group are helping the Hawks Right?

That team is loaded and has two cups in the last three years...
Maybe we need better talent?

Holland is the issue. I am not convinced that Bowman could elevate the performance of this team's personnel.

Holland needs to start getting some heat if he isn't already, no GM should be off-limits from criticism, regardless of how successful they've been in the past.

Babcock should get some blame too

It's a problem when a guy like Dan Cleary gets (by my count) nearly 77 PP minutes and ZERO PP points

Yep.

MB and KH's lovefest with over-the-hill veterans is killing this team right now.

Could not agree more with all of these statements.

Not sure what you guys are complaining about. We have been to the post season the past 22 years. You need a Cup every year? The last draft pick in the top ten was in #10 in 1991. So you want a diamond in the rough like Dats or Z every draft class? Some years are best setup to help you in the future, like this year. Our bevy of talent is learning the ropes, while our starters are injured, but with that comes hard knocks and losses. We have a solid goaltender, we have youth everywhere and we have the best coach in the NHL. Things are just fine in Hockeytown.

Tatar, Jurco, Sheahan...these guys are only going to get better with time. I think the team will be fine. I think we as Red Wings fans have never had to be patient and wait for young talent to develop...and that's leading to the frustration.

I think only a few are frustrated... Plenty of good things going on with this team...

There's deadwood on this team that is uncharacteristic of the Red Wings and is playing key roles, whether players are injured or not.
