not being able to strike people out. 13 ks today. 23k's in 4 games prior to that. not bad.
 
It would be huge for us if he can keep pitching well and with some consistency. I'd take our chances against anyone in the playoffs if we have Fister to compliment JV.

For some reason he gets pulled at around 100 pitches.. I think Leyland should up his workload to 110-120.. I really think he can handle it.. It never seems like he exerts himself too much when he's out there.
 
Some times he gets pulled before. When he was with Seattle he was averaging 7 innings which is very good. No doubt he can be a horse and pitch more. But today, ninth inning - I'm okay bringing in the closer.
