We have the harder schedule than the Bulls. One thing that could go on our favor would be the cavaliers resting players in the last game. I think we go 4-4 to the finish. Bulls could possibly go 6-2. Whoever wins in the final meeting between the teams could also decide the tiebreaker.

Yeah i agree our schedule is much tougher Okc is locked into the third spot so hopefully they won't go all out tomorrow. It would be huge if Hawks can show up in Chicago tonight.

OKC is still in danger of dropping to the 4th seed, so I doubt they play it safe. I still think they are trying to prove (or figure out) that they can really win it. You and me both, I think, have said it's kind of a lost cause, but oh well.

I was hoping being on the second half of a back to back may have helped us out, but OKC is crushing Toronto and will probably rest their starters the entire 4th quarter.

Side note: Let's say you are the Cavs. On the last day of the season you have the Pistons in town and the 8th seed is on the line. If you win, you knock out the Pistons and guarantee yourself the Bulls as a first-round punching bag. If you lose, you can rest as many players as you want and guarantee the Pistons as your first round victims. What do you do? Which team would you rather play in the first round?

Personally, I think if I'm the Cavs, and I have the choice, I'd rather play the Bulls. What used to make the Bulls so tough was their relentless, pounding defense. They really don't play that way anymore without Thibs. The Bulls are also short-handed with Noah out. Now, I don't think either team could actually beat the Cavs, but I think the Bulls would be an easier matchup. Detroit might steal a game or expose the Cavs weakness in the middle. The Bulls would be lucky to keep things close as they get outclassed across the board.

I am confused

Okc is 52-22 and in the number 3 spot .ten full games behind the spurs, and 6.5 ahead of the Clippers with 8 games to go.

Clippers are 45-27 in the number 4 spot.

There is no chance that the Clippers catch okc.

OKC TAKE OFF THE GAME IN DETROIT! !!!!

I think we are rooting for the Pacers at home verses the Bulls. Plus Chicago has to play at Houston who is fighting for a spot the very next game .

Washington seems like the bigger threat down the stretch than Chicago.

How I think it plays out with remaining schedules:

Detroit Schedule:

OKC: Loss
DAL: Loss
@CHI: Loss
@MIA: Win
@ORL: Win
WASH: Loss
MIA: Win
@CLE: Win

Total W-L: 43-39

Chicago Schedule:
@IND: Loss
@HOU: Loss
DET: Win
@MIL: Loss
@MEM: Win
@MIA: Loss
CLE: Loss
@NO: Win
PHI: Win

Total W-L: 40-42

Washington Schedule:
@GS: Loss
@SAC: Win
@PHO: Win
@LAC: Loss
BKN: Win
@DET: Win
CHA: Win
@BKN: Win
ATL: Win

Total W-L: 43-39

Washington gets in because of head-to-head matchups.

I think we can beat the wizards at home I know wizards gave a much softer schedule but the are such a shitty team. Hopefully they won't go 7-2 down the strech.

I can't see Washington going 7-2 even they beat us down the stretch. GS, LAC, and AOL should be easy losses. Charlotte should beat them too. I know Washington has the Pistons number, but they are garbage against everyone else.

I want to see this team get the 8 seed. Cleveland is such a better matchup.

No one wants Cleveland lol.

I suppose, but if the Pistons took them down in game 1, I could honestly see them becoming completely unglued. There is zero confidence around that franchise right now.

Toronto is just a better team top to bottom. I am a little more concerned with the Pistons handling Kyle Lowry and DeRozan rather than JR Smith and Kyrie.

Not to be pessimistic, but this team doesn't "match up" well with any of the top seeds in the East. I don't think there is much chance of getting passed Cleveland or Toronto at this stage. We match up to those teams better than the Bulls do, but that's because we have a better team than the Bulls currently.

This is a first round team only. There's nothing wrong with that. It's a huge upgrade from previous years. And perhaps playoff experience is what helps our guys develop into more.

I actually think they match-up well with Cleveland, going off the regular season results. They have beaten Cleveland twice, lost once. Beyond Kyrie and LeBron, they are not deep at all. Toronto is DEEP, from top to bottom.
