Drew Stanton - QB - Jets

Newly acquired Jets QB Drew Stanton reportedly may ask for a trade or his release after the team's addition of Tim Tebow.
Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum was noncommittal about Stanton's future in a Wednesday night conference call. "We'll see," said Tannenbaum. "... When we signed Drew, we didn't think (Tebow) was a possibility." Tannenbaum confirmed Tebow would be the No. 2 quarterback behind Mark Sanchez, leaving Stanton potentially ahead of only Greg McElroy on the Jets' depth chart.

So the Jets are soon gonna have a Tebow college offense run-scheme or schemes pre-planned, and practiced as a fail-safe and fool-proof remedy and will be fully prepared and ready to go if their QB Sanchize becomes an unexpected game-day scratch, has troubles on and/or off the field, or goes on the IR?

Jets may want to consider holding onto an experienced Stanton, rather than releasing him then a lower round raw rookie QB draft-pick b/c Tebow as a second-stringer may be initially much worse than playing Stanton or dirty Sanchez injury, slump, or not.
