way to vote your interests, morons.

Trump is happening.

Thought it might all be a prank ...

Thought no way he'd survive a real political vetting process but here we are

The thing that really has me shocked is that it would be one thing to say, Trump has 40% of the republicans in his pocket, fine, 40% of republicans choose poorly. But there's also another 30% supporting Cruz! That's 70% that fall into one category or another of viewing things so differently, I can't relate to these people or start to understand their thinking.

Yeah she is. You can only pray on fears so long. When push comes to shove, I hope people will have the common sense to stay away from someone so divisive.

but Hillary Clinton? Screw her...there is no way I could ever vote for her.

This might be the worst election in a long time in terms of candidates. I would guess turnout will be low and that a lot of voters will vote Clinton, though without any real conviction or emotion.

And on we go.

I still don't understand what the GOP is about now - sort of Christianity, sort of lower taxes and sort of anti-immigration but there's no clear narrative.

Just look at someone like Carly Fiorina who was out in the 2nd inning and someone like Trump. Both are arguably failures as CEOs/Corporate leaders yet of anything Fiorina has a more legit track record.

Only a certain kind of Christianity. I'd like to put quotes around the word "Christianity" there, but...no true Scots and all that. The closest thing to a statement on the race said by the Pope was anti-Trump.

that's what I mean - Rubio talked about it in his concession speech and Cruz will mention it here

LOL.

Kasich's campaign should've forseen that the "Sex slave keepers for John Kasich" Super PAC might have some skeletons in the closet...

I think we need to revert to the original agreement that the president is the candidate that gets the most votes and the veep being the runner-up. Clinton-Trump or Trump-Clinton.

I might change my tune come November but I really, really don't plan on voting for Clinton. My BS detector is too good to buy into her bullshit. I quite honestly have no idea where she (actually) stands on most issues.

you can review her voting history and extensive fees received by corporation & banks for "speeches" to see where she stands.

I have no reason to believe Sanders has "pushed her left" in any meaningful or lasting way. if anything, his campaign might cynically move her more to the right out of spite.

She has one issue: Occupy The Oval Office. The rest is conversation.

Were I the head of her SS detail (and that will be a miserable crew) I'd name her something like "Raptor" "Mantis" or "Piranha".

Doesn't she just keep the one she already has - whatever that is?

EDIT: Various websites indicate that her code name was and still is Evergreen, which would make sense and she probably chose it herself.

According to this from Wikipedia, the Secret Service doesn't assign the code name but it is instead selected the White House Communications Agency.
