I love our team but were prime for a losing streak somewhere in there. Gotta find as many wins as we can now early in the season before a brutal schedule in the 2nd half. Hopefully, Tebow time struggles to run the offense and we go into the bye week on a winning streak and an extra week to prepare for CHI which will be a completely different game AWAY.

Wow you have a tough 2nd half schedule. I see 8 games you could lose, not saying you will though

Here's my take...

The Lions are obviously better than any of us thought. You don't go 5-0 on luck in the NFL, ever. So this is a team that has a lot more to dish out on the field than any of us expected.

NFCN Champions would be "successful". To be honest, a wild card berth at this point is good... mediocre for this team almost. They are 5-0... they could belly flop their way into the playoffs at this point.

I can't say meeting the minimum expectations is "success". Success is going beyond what most people thought you could do anyway.

There was no shortage of experts and fans calling for a Lions playoff berth, so success to me is winning the division against all odds.

I don't feel satisfied yet, therefore I can't call it a success. There's still a long season and a brutal schedule left. The team's we've beaten, and I hate to say it, but they haven't been all that good. The Cowboys road win was definitely the best of the season. I could define success a couple ways I suppose. I want this team to compete. If they lose they lose, but I want them to be competitive.

Ideally we win the superbowl, obviously, but if not I want a playoff trip and not going out without a fight. Make it a game. That would be very successful to me.

Hmm...What I see is a TGD game in which the Lions will have incurred a loss or two prior, (likely) vs the unbeaten Packers (likely) which, IMO, tilts the game intangibles in the Lions favor. Of course it is also obviously possible that both teams will still be undefeated, or that both will have lost at least one game prior to the "Showdown in Motown".

I also see the very real possibility that the Lions/Packers final game of the regular season giving the Lions their best chance in literally decades, to knock off the Packers @ Lambeau (who will likely be resting some if not many of their first stringers, as will the Lions IF they both clinch) and finally end their losing streak, extending back a mind-boggling 20 seasons. (1991)

Also, WHY is it that the Lions are playing their final game of the regular season @ Packers yet again, just a mere 3 years after they ALSO played their final game of the regular season @ Packers, which as we all know became THE game that infamously cemented that winless '08 Lions' team into NFL history @ 0-16?
