Marcell Dareus just signed a 6 year extension - worth $108 million over seven seasons. $60 million is guaranteed, highest ever for a non QB in NFL history.

Sure hope Miami was worth it for Suh to be the highest paid non QB for like...6 months. Grats dude.

Was that his priority.. Being paid the most ever?

Suh clearly picked a weaker team. Money was his priority. He needed 19 mil over 17 mil per with alot of 60 million in the bank from his first contract.

I understand he took the most money. My question was did he always want to be paid the most of all non-QB's?

I've heard something to that effect before. He's always seemed very "Suh-oriented" so it wouldn't shock me...

current SB odds

Dolphins 20-1
Lions 30-1

lol defensive tackle suddenly taking priority over left tackles and ends...wtf is going on. Typcaiily it was a low paid position.

Anybody watching the Miami game? The 2nd or 3rd snap of the game Suh got tossed to the ground. I honestly don't remember seeing that happen in Detroit. Washington's oline is having their way with that front 4 right now.

Suh just is not working in Miami. How many years before he becomes cut bait?

2018 is earliest they can cut him because of cap reasons. However I doubt after 4 games they are thinking along those lines.

I remember his agent saying it was a priority to be the highest paid ever. Not sure it was "THE" priority... but it was big enough his agent even said it.

I remember reading something about the necessity of re-working the deal after the first year, because of the $23Mm cap hit, and how there was some way he could opt out after a year.

Gotta wonder if he wouldn't do that at this point.
