Anyone here this on 97.1 FM at 2 pm? This guy is starting to drive me a bit crazy as a person.

didn't hear the interview, but i agree. I have no problem with him being dirty, but he needs to do it at a more....convenient time. Not 3rd and long or in a tight game. He speaks softly and he seems like such a nice guy, but the dude has issues. I hope he gets past them. Not to mention, he's not been nearly as good as last year.

The only problem I had is that he didn't tell Valenti to fuck off on the air, somebody really needs to bring that hack back down to earth. He's doing the weekly interview because he has to, he doesn't owe anything to that pair of buffoons that do nothing but talk about how badly he is playing this year and how much his team sucks. Haven't you noticed how no other athletes in the area will talk to them and Suh only gives them a token interview every week with nothing but stock answers?

Smit, all he had to say was, "I'm sorry, I got out of line, and I hope my fans forgive me." Suh is absolutely delusional.

He doesn't need to say shit to the fans for what happened. All he needs to do is apologize to his teammates and coaches. And that's a private matter for only him and his boys...not us.

Say he apologizes. What does that do for you? Does it make you NOT return the Suh jersey you bought for your kid for Christmas now? Does it make you sleep better at night? Really? He didn't kill anyone, he wasn't drunk in public, he didn't get into a fight, he didn't rape a woman or hurt any children in the process. He lost his head on the football field and paid for his actions. It's over with. He's trying to move on....so should ALL of you.

Lmao at this.

"I'm so wury wury sorry. Prease forgibe me". Either priorities are messed up or some of you are over dramitizing this.

Seeing as how I'm 26 with no kids, I don't think I'll be returning any jerseys.

The point of this entire thread is not that he didn't apologize. It's that he is so lost with what reality is, and he cannot address ANY questions, is sad. The fact that he stomped on a guy, then afterward, said something to the effect of, "I was trying to get off of him, and he was holding me down." Don't try and tell me athletes don't man up and take responsibility. I've seen and heard countless athletes make a mistake, come back and say, "It was my fault, it's my responsibility, and it won't happen again." Suh has said NONE of that. And in a hard-working city like Detroit, do you think the fans appreciate his aloofness???

I'd starting to think some of you hadn't watched the game or replay. I'm not so sure he even touched him. It was a very light "get off me" thing. Why should he apologize to a player who was antagonizing him.

What do you want him to say? And the hard working city like Detroit? Lol. Are you from Detroit? How many fans who go to games are from Detroit? Or fans in general from Detroit? 2%, 5%?

Mitch, stop defending the guy. He stomped on him. Whether or not it was malicious in your eyes, the replay is quite clear. He stepped on him. He was one of the few players in NFL history to be suspended for multiple games for an on-field incident.

So, when he comes back from his suspension, and has his head in the clouds like nothing happened, that's a problem. Did you listen to his post-game "apology" after Thanksgiving? It was delusional almost to the point of being kind of frightening how clueless he is.

I didn't say it was right, but there are much worse incidents. But to think you or anyway else deserve a better response in what he was thinking you're dilusional.

It's not like he accidentally stepped on a guy and got suspended and screwed by the league. He repeatedly yanks on facemasks, hits late and pushes the envelope. He's a dick and thinks the rules don't apply to him and thinks he's better than the other Pros he plays against. The 97.1 interview just makes him look like an immature punk.

kid needs to check himself. period. Now lets put it behind us and play ball. he knows ths, we know this. move on

He's out of touch with reality? Why, because he doesn't want to talk about the incident? He wants to put it BEHIND him and concentrate on taking this fucking team to the playoffs. Suh doesn't owe us shit when it comes to his actions. You don't have a clue what he said to his teammates and coaches behind closed doors...not a one. Maybe he wept. Maybe he laughed about it. Or maybe he was honestly sorry about what happened. We don't need to know and frankly, you shouldn't give a fuck. All i care about is him putting a beatdown on opposing QB's and RB's who stand in his way. He's the best sports figure (talent wise) to come to Lions in the last 5 years. Lets keep him around a while, not run him out of town because he hasn't owned up to "the fans"...lol. What a joke....

Go become a Bears fan then....beat it.

my only problem with suh is his timing. Yeah, what he did wasn't really that bad on the field. But if you're a pro, you need to realize that there are certain times where you can cross the line and times that you can't. For instance, any motion that looks like you're trying to stomp on someone on the ground during a playoff race is not a good idea. He doesn't owe me an apology, but he damn better have apologized to his teammates. They lost his stupid ass for two games. You have to be smarter.

I agree with you 100%, bro. Listen, i'm not defending the "act" of what Suh did. I'm defending the "person". There's a difference. What Suh did was dumb and it cost his team. By him not being there, it cost the Lions. Now, do you think the Lions from top to bottom did not hold Suh accountable for that? You bet your ass they did and they handled it in house. Like every other organization would. And in this instance, silence is golden and it doesn't have to be spread upon the media or us fans. It was handled properly.
