Last December, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh had an automobile accident in Portland, which gave rise to the kind of allegations that often give rise to a lawsuit. Suh was neither cited nor charged.

On Thursday, Suh was cited in Portland for a more routine traffic misadventure.

The Oregonian reports that Suh was pulled over and ticketed for speeding, improperly signaling, and not carrying proof of insurance.

Police said Suh was cooperative.

So, basically, there was no stomping. (Except on the gas pedal.)

yeah i know it isn't a HUGE deal...but i'm tired of seeing his name in the headlines..he already crashed a car once last year while he was suspended..i know he got in a car crash his rookie year too (but they said he wasn't driving..but who knows with this kid)

This is a nonstory. Imagine how many professional athletes get pulled over for speeding. The fact you're(and the media) trying to make a deal of this is stupid.

How hard is it to have a relatively small copy of proof of insurance slip tucked in his wallet, which he must have had on him, since there was no mention of Suh also not providing his drivers license or registration?

Unless he had just recently bought the vehicle, and had not insured it yet? Dunno how many other vehicles he also owns, but he did "have" a once "cherry" burnt-orange '70 Chevelle...lol.

I've forgotten insurance in a car before. Usually happens after I get new ones and forget to put it in my glove box but still..its a non-story.

I had my auto insurance agent send an email with an attachment including my POI, and now all I need to do is turn on my PC, navigate to the Outlook folder containing the .pdf, then click "print" to obtain a new copy if necessary...too easy.

He got caught going 91 in a 55!! How the hell do you do that. Look I have a lead foot and I have to be careful because I enjoy speed but thats crazy. That being said this really isnt a big deal to him publicly this really isnt a news story. But hopefully Oregon will take his license away for a few months. That way we wont have to hear any more of this shenanigans.

I've been critical of Suh in the past, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. Waste of article space IMO.

Amazing how much time the Detroit media (and national media) wastes on Suh's personal life and anything Brandon Inge.

Just a blur flying down a residential street doing 90...Suh's mom waving on the porch turns to horror as all the local kids playing ball are jumping out of the way screaming...cut to a close up of Suh, oblivious, nodding and smiling to the tune of "Aint no love (in the heart of the city)".
